College Writing (355:101), the only course required of all Rutgers-New Brunswick undergraduate students, satisfies the Writing and Communication (WC) core learning goal requirement.

This requirement can also be met by either of the following courses:

Note: students will only receive credit for one WC-certified course (355:101, 103, or 104)

Note: students must register for and complete composition courses in consecutive terms, with no hiatus, until they have passed 01:355:101 or 103 or 104. Once a student matriculates at SAS, all writing courses must be completed at Rutgers-New Brunswick (SAS Policy).
