The First Year Writing Team and Faculty Development Writing Group invite all faculty and colleagues to “Multimodal Composition in the Writing Classroom,” a guest lecture from Kristen Hawley Turner, PhD, Professor and Director of Education at Drew University. Dr. Turner will share her expertise on designing and assessing multimodal compositions, based on her article, “An Interconnected Framework for Assessment of Digital Multimodal Composition,” which won the NCTE ELATE Richard A. Meade Award in 2022. Questions, discussion, and refreshments to follow.
