As many College Writing instructors begin teaching Project 4 soon after the return from Spring Break, we have decided to host an informal discussion in which instructors can come together to discuss their approaches to teaching Project 4. It will take place on Zoom next Friday 3/6 at 10:30am.
In this meeting, instructors can discuss the project prompt, what kind of work they expect their students to produce, the content and goal of any daily activities they have designed for students to complete throughout the drafting process, as well as how they balance between teaching the intricacies of multimodal composition and introducing students to the complexities of the research process.
This is an informal discussion with no obligation to participate in any particular way. As a result, instructors can merely come and listen (hear how others teach Project 4), ask questions of one another, or come ready to share any daily activities they have had success with in the classroom.
