Can the Writing Program give me a special permission number to enroll
in a closed writing course?
No, it is our policy not to over-enroll Writing Program courses. Teachers for writing courses cannot give out special permission numbers to over-enroll closed sections.

What should I do if I need a special permission number for a writing
course?
The Writing Program cannot drop you from a course without the permission of the Dean of your college. Also, it is the Writing Program's policy not to add students to closed sections.
