This fall, the Writing Program was awarded two Dialogues Grants to improve the quality of undergraduate education at Rutgers.

• Barclay Barrios, the Writing Program's Director of Instructional Technology, received a $6,000 grant to expand the online resources available on the Writing Program website for students enrolled in 098, 100, 100R, and 201.
  

• Ann Jurecic, the Writing Program's Transfer Coordinator, received a $4,000 grant to revise the NewToRU website and to revise 355:301, College Writing and Research, the Writing Program's writing course specifically designed for transfer students.

The Writing Program also received a Teaching and Evaluation Grant for $5,000 to assess the use and effectiveness of its new website, wp.rutgers.edu. Richard E. Miller will serve as the principle investigator on this progect.
