Program Awarded Three Grants, Totaling $15,000, to Improve Undergraduate
Education
This fall, the Writing Program was awarded two Dialogues
Grants to improve the quality of undergraduate education at Rutgers.
Barclay Barrios, the Writing Program's Director of Instructional
Technology, received a $6,000 grant to expand the online resources
available on the Writing Program website for students enrolled
in 098, 100, 100R, and 201.
Ann Jurecic, the Writing Program's Transfer Coordinator, received
a $4,000 grant to revise the NewToRU website and to revise 355:301,
College Writing and Research, the Writing Program's writing
course specifically designed for transfer students.
The Writing Program also received a Teaching and Evaluation Grant
for $5,000 to assess the use and effectiveness of its new website,
wp.rutgers.edu. Richard E. Miller will serve as the principle investigator
on this progect.
