Tutorama: Week Fourteen: Last But Not Least

Go through Every Comment Your Instructor Provided on Your Most Recent Draft
Ask yourself: Have I done everything the comments ask me to do? Are all of the changes I've been asked to make completed?

Go through the Comments Again
Make sure you have done everything the instructor asked you to do. If the instructor wrote an end comment that asked you to work on transition sentences, incorporation of new sources into the argument, and proofreading, and you have merely proofread, you are not done yet!

Review Your Thesis
Now that you know the full shape of your argument, go back to your thesis paragraph and make sure that it matches your argument. If you are having trouble seeing if they match, go to "Revision Strategies" and use the technique of reverse outlining.

Contact Your Instructor if Necessary
If, after running through these checklists, you still have questions about what you are supposed to do, contact your instructor as soon as possible. Following through on instructions may, at this point, make the difference between the grade you want and the grade you have earned so far.
