Follow A Student: Final Thoughts

While the Gradatorium, as its name suggests, is designed to help you understand how grading works in Expos, we also shouldn't lose sight of the fact that the grade is not everything. This particular student did will in Expos, with a solid start and a strong finish, but what matters more is the improvement not in grade, but in ability.

As you work on your own papers, take some time every now and then to think about your own improvement. When you're stuck in the muck of writing six papers, the process can seem endless, pointless, and even tedious. But if you take a step back to follow yourself as a student, you'll see the ways in which both your writing and your thinking have improved.

And, in the end, that's what Expos is all about.
