Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences - Writing Program

Writing Program

WP in the Schools

The Rutgers Writing Program can arrange site visits for professional development at your school.  Our on-site workshops are designed to help high school teachers better prepare their students for college level writing and can be tailored to meet your institutional needs. alt

We introduce teachers to our innovative writing pedagogy focused on promoting an active learning environment, designing challenging assignments, incorporating more non-fiction texts, and using technology to improve engagement and time-on-task.  The workshop includes a training manual, workbook, and supplemental materials.  We are happy to work with you to design a program that fits your needs and your budget.
