Writing Program Extension (WPx)

The Rutgers Writing Program has long been recognized as one of the best managed undergraduate writing programs in the country. Now, the Writing Program offers a new series of noncredit, professional-level writing courses on the New Brunswick campus, and at many client locations, called WPx.alt

These are professional-level writing courses taught by professionals.

WPx students typically have a degree and are now looking for professional advancement. Students in our business, technical, and journalism writing courses are seeking career advancement; students in our creative writing courses are seeking higher levels of professional skill in fiction, non-fiction, screen writing, play writing, or poetry.

WPx instructors are accomplished professionals. They know “real-world” practices and standards, and are committed to helping you achieve your full potential.
